Effortless Document Tagging with Microsoft Syntex Taxonomy Tagging

A new update has come to Microsoft Syntex called taxonomy Tagging. This allow existing Managed Metadata (termstore) columns to be added to a library and then AI will automatically tag documents matching terms in the termstore. The tagged documents can then help users to find documents through browsing and search. No rules or training of a model are required to setup the feature and it is all configured by the end user in a library with one configuration option on the column settings a Yes/No for Automatically tag documents with terms toggle switch.

Leveraging Microsoft Syntex for PDF Page Extraction and Merging

A new feature has come to Microsoft Syntex to allow users from a SharePoint document library or OneDrive to extract and merge PDFs. Users can combine two or more PDF files into a new PDF file with the Merge PDFs action or split PDF pages into new PDF files with the Extract pages action. This is all from the UI and n longer is there the requirement for users to remove the files from SharePoint/OneDrive and use third party software applications/upload to web sites offering this service. This is great for security and usability!
